Tethered GPS is a GPS security monitoring application tailored for smartphones, aimed at enhancing personal protection against potential threats such as kidnapping-for-ransom scenarios and other emergencies. This service facilitates rapid location tracking, aiding authorities, organizations, and families in identifying the geo-coordinates of an individual’s smartphone during critical situations.

The application employs advanced GPS technology to monitor device locations through trained Security Monitors, operating discreetly to ensure user safety. It is important to note that Tethered GPS does not provide a visual representation of the user's current location on a map, as this could potentially expose users to danger if their device falls into the wrong hands. The stealth mode is designed to keep the presence of GPS security technology confidential.

Security Monitors are available around the clock, ready to offer immediate assistance whenever necessary. Each user has a dedicated Security Monitor who acts as a primary point of contact during emergencies, responsible for notifying relevant authorities and emergency contacts as needed.

Tethered GPS prioritizes user control, allowing individuals to establish safety zones, designate contacts for emergencies, and send duress alerts when personal safety is compromised. Users can also activate or deactivate security monitoring at their discretion, ensuring they have an additional layer of protection wherever they go.

Recognizing the importance of privacy alongside personal safety, Tethered GPS ensures that users' location data is securely stored on remote servers managed by the company. Access to this data is restricted solely to instances wherein a security alert is triggered by the user or their smartphone. Moreover, users have full assurance that their data will not be sold, transferred, or accessed by any third parties without explicit consent. Users retain the right to delete their entire location data history at any time.

Through Tethered GPS, individuals can access security technology and services while retaining full control of their safety measures.
